Project "Carpatian Guest House, wine and chocolate - tourist attraction of Kombornia Manor" supported by a grant from Switzerland through the Swiss Contribution to the enlarged European Union, under the project "The Alps for the Carpathians", implemented by the Carpathian Foundation - Poland.
Value of co-financing: 17 915.05 CHF.
The project has been implemented during June-July 2014. The main objective of the project is to unlock the socio - economic potential of mountainous areas of the region and to strengthen tourist offer of the Subcarpathian region and raise the standards of quality environmental friendly tourism in the context of the Swiss experience through the expansion of accommodation facilities, as well as create new stay packages based on regional products.
With the implementation of this project the offer of Kombornia manor will be enriched with new services created on a base of selected elements of cultural traditions and new regional products. Actions undertaken within the project combine with aspirations to create a branded local product under a common brand name of the "Made in Karpaty".
Guest rooms in former Outbuilding
The first is the 18th century outbuilding renovated in the spring of 2011. It houses comfortable cosy rooms among which there are also studios designed for artists (musicians and painters) who cannot be parted from their work even when on holiday.
Guest rooms in former Manor Stables
Adaptation of nineteenth-century building of the former court stables, was completed in 2014. The interior of rooms are dominated by warm colors. Wine and chocolate have been the inspiration for their colors .
